Kistler anthelix cartilage file for auricular plastic: rasp left or rasp right
The toothing (1mm interval) is designed to exert a traction force. A longitudinal channel (0.5mm) divides it into two parallel rows of teeth. This ensures that the perichondrium is sufficiently scratched.
Advantages:
Improved handling due to its anatomical, S-shaped design
Simple dissection of the anterior anthelix fold to be reshaped
Only when pulling back the instrument the perichondrium is scratched on the front side of the concha along the reshaped anthelix fold
Optimum shape after complete wound healing, defi nitively fi xed and secured also when using absorbable sutures.
