Can I return an item?

Please choose carefully, as we do not accept returns or exchanges on these items unless the item you purchased is defective or damaged.

Medicon offer a 10 year replacement warranty on against defects in materials and workmanship, if you think that your instrument is faulty or damaged from manufacture, please call us on 1800 138 138. Some exclusions apply, please see the Medicon warranty certificate for these items.

Any product that is approved for return, must be pre-approved by National Surgical Corporation. Any return that is pre-approved by National Surgical Corporation will incur a 20% restocking fee.

Do I have to set up an account to make a purchase?

No, you do not need to set up an account, however, setting up an account only takes a few minutes and will remember your details for future orders. Once you have set up an account, you will receive a username and password for you to sign in. This will allow you to easily access account information next time you log in. Once you register, you have access to your account instantly.

The registration process is simple and will only ask for you standard questions including Surgery/Company name, contact person, address, phone and email address.

How do I cancel an order or item from my order?

How do I find a specific product?

You can search for a product by name, description or product code using the search function. You can also click on the surgical field that you represent to find a detailed listing of the instruments available for that specialty.

How do I purchase surgical instruments?

Once you have found the instrument that you require, simply select from the drop down box which option you would like and then click on the “Add to Cart’ button on the page. This will automatically add this to your cart. You can update your cart at any stage by clicking on the ‘My Cart’ button at the top of the page.

Once you have finished browsing, click on ‘Checkout’ which will take you through the process of finalising your order and paying. You can pay by setting up an account/becoming a member - which will remember your details for future orders or as a guest.

How much is the delivery fee and what are the shipping times for my order?

The shipping fee for orders are $10 + GST for orders under $100 and $20 + GST for orders over $100 which will be automatically calculated at the checkout. Shipping for overseas orders are approx. $60- $80 depending on where the order is going.

Shipping times are estimated at approx. 3-4 weeks. With over 10,000 instruments online, we can't stock every item. All Medicon instruments are handmade in Germany under strict quality assessment guidelines and we order the instruments from Medicon as we need to. All products must meet these standards before they can be sent to NSC. Once NSC has received the items, then it will take between 1-5 business days to arrive, depending on where you are located within Australia.

How secure are my credit card details?

National Surgical Corporation/Surgical Instruments.net.au is dedicated to keeping your details private. When purchasing from our website, www.surgicalinstruments.net.au, card details are transmitted through an application programming interface. Card Details are hosted by eway after processing. National Surgical Corporation/Surgical Instruments.net.au can not view your credit card details. We use Eway for any future transactions that may occur with you.

Is ordering safe?

When purchasing from National Surgical Corporation/Surgical Instruments.net.au your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard. All personal information that you supply is safeguarded and your privacy is protected with our secure server software (SSL). NSC does not distribute your information to any third parties. When you place an order with us, you can feel safe that your information is secure.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

If you have forgotten your password, please click on the ‘forgotten password’ button and a new one will be sent to you.

What if you don’t have a product I am after?

If you can’t find a similar product in the surgical specialty pages, you can contact us and we can provide you with an alternative product to meet your needs.

What information will I need to set-up an account?

What is my log on information?

Your username will be an email address linked to your company and something that is easy to remember in future.

What is the minimum dollar amount I can order?

There is no minimum dollar amount you have to order – you can purchase only 1 item if that is all you require.
